Runner up at Sundance.

Sundance Vacation Speedway, PA

Jeff and his team rolled into Sundance Vacation Speedway, Saturday June 5, ready to race. Unfortunately, an oil problem and a water leak had kot missing the practice sessions. It was looking as if the #95 entry might have to miss the race. Luckily the pit crew was able to find the problems and repair them just in time. Kot was able to get through the qualifying race with a second place finish.

After the qualifying race there was still an oil leak. The crew were able to make a temporary fix and get their car out for the fan fest autograph session and the feature event. The team didn't have much time to adjust on the car with most of the time being spent on repairing the problem.

After the 4 wide "wave lap" Kot settled in, ready to bring the field to the green from his first place starting position. Jeff wasted no time on the start and easily opened a lead on the field. Consistently hitting his marks lap after lap until the #35 spun bringing out the caution. Kot would take the lead again and the car was launching out of turn 2 nicely enabling Kot to keep an unchallenged lead, but the #35 spun again in turn four which would bunch up the field for the final laps. Jeff would see the lead he had built up go away and the top cars would have one last shot at him. Jeff again took the lead but with 3 laps remaining the #13 was able to get by him and Kot brought home the TYPHOON digital studios entry in second position.

The next race is at Wall Stadium, NJ.
